Absolutely not, we welcome everybody of all abilities on our trip. We are planning on running some taster skiing sessions in the UK before the trip where you will be able to have a go and meet other people who are new to skiing. Equally, skiing lessons are available to book through our options page once booking is live so you can learn to ski for the first time on Palatinalps, it is never too late to start!

Yes absolutely, after everyone is booked, there will be a chance to select your accommodation and who you share it with via our bookings page.

Definitely, there will be Palatinalps events in Durham beforehand so you can meet other people going on the trip, equally, you will meet people via sharing accommodation with them or getting involved in apres ski and other activities whilst on the trip, it is a great way to make new friends.

Yes, we encourage people from all years at Durham to sign up. It can seem daunting as a fresher as it is in your first term, but it is such a good way to bond with your newly made friends and is a rite of passage uni experience for everybody, no matter if you are first or fourth year!
